Nutter Butter Cookie Bars

Okay, so I had to bake these Nutter Butter Cookie Bars after seeing them on  Half Baked Harvest site. If you're not following that site, you're missing out on some serious recipe gold!


I mean, seriously, who can resist a recipe that calls for ingredients you already have in your pantry? I’m talking peanut butter people! We all have that on hand.


Usually, I’m all about waiting until Saturday to taste my Friday night baking experiments, but these cookie bars were a different story. The intoxicating aroma alone had me reaching for a sliver. And let me tell you, it was hard to stop at just one.

The cookie base is perfection, but that creamy peanut butter filling? Forget about it! It’s like a dream come true. Trust me, you’ll be scraping the pan.


I'm dying to know your thoughts if you decide to make these!

The only edit I made to the recipe was reducing the confectionary sugar in the filling from 1 to 2 cups to just 3/4 of a cup. I think a 1/2 cup would have been fine.
