Lastly, we have the cookie. This cookie is a new recipe I found on AllRecipes for Walnut Cookies. I added dark chocolate chips and Heath Bar Chips. I also roasted the walnuts. Nice.

Walnut, Dark Chocolate, Toffee Cookies
Ingredients-
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1Â egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 dark chocolate chips
1/2 toffee chips
Method-
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees FËš.Â
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, white sugar, brown sugar, and baking soda.
Add the egg, vanilla, and butter; mix until dough forms.Â
Stir in the chopped walnuts, chocolate chips, and toffee chips
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Chill in freezer for at least 30 minutes.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are golden brown.Â
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing them to a wire rack to cool completely. It seems everyone, even the furry supervisor, appreciates a warm oven on a rainy day.
