I felt a bit nostalgic tonight. A dessert that my Mom made a lot was Apple Squares.
In high school for public speaking class I did a presentation on the topic of Apple Squares. Complete with recipe illustrations, this was pre PowerPoint days. I ended the presentation by uncovering a dish of Apple Squares. Easy A.
I was looking through my Mom's recipes and found this -
I made 1/2 a batch of this recipe.
Not bad... But not as good as Mom's.
Also mixed dough for Walnut Bread that will be baked tomorrow.
