My Instagram feed finally got to me! I've been seeing no-knead bread videos everywhere, and I knew I had to try it. The results? Amazing! This is officially the second weekend in a row that I've baked this incredibly simple, crusty loaf. Click here for Instagram reel-  the recipe

It's a perfect Friday ritual: mix the dough in the morning, and bake it that evening. And the ingredient list couldn't be simpler: flour, water, yeast, and salt. (Okay, maybe five if you count the drizzle of olive oil before it hits the oven!) If you're looking for a low-effort, high-reward bake, this is the one!

4 Ingredient Bread

Ingredients-

1 1/2 cup warm to the touch water, between 110˚ and 118˚

2 tsp yeast

2 1/2 cups flour

2 tsp salt

olive oil for the top of the bread

Method-

In a bowl, add the water and stir in the yeast.

Let it sit for 5 minutes.

In another small bowl, combine flour and salt.

Add the flour mixture to the water and yeast.

Stir in until blended.

Dough will be shaggy.

Cover with plastic wrap and put in a warm spot to rise.

I put it in the oven, NOT TURNED ON, while I go to work.

I am sure a cat named Milo would get into it otherwise.

Remove the dough from the oven, if using that method, to let the dough rise.

Preheat the oven to 400˚.

Line a bread pan with parchment paper, like this.

Put the dough into the pan.

Drizzle the top of the bread with a little olive oil.

Bake for 25 minutes.

Rotate the baking pan and bake for another 20 minutes.
